Best Times: November - February



November through March are considered the prime climbing months because the temperatures are usually in the 60's and 70's. There are occsassional storms in midwinter, but suprisingly it can be raining in camp and be dry only five minutes away in the canyon.
 

 March and April are still great times to climb in El Potrero Chico because the crowds are smaller and La Posada's pool opens mid-March. The temperatures rise to the upper 70's and 80's but it there is lots of shade to be found.
